Through experience in dealing with both simple and straightforward probate administration matters, and complex cases, Tom is experienced and available to represent and assist executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in resolving the administration of probate and intestate estates in the Estate Division of Superior Court.
For example, in one recent matter Tom represented an administrator in Michigan administering an Estate in Buncombe County involving the sale of a residence in Maryland, requiring an ancillary proceeding in Maryland, and real property in Buncombe and Madison County, and in which both North Carolina and Maryland law applied.
